Stu Herniman Personal Trainer, Qualified Sports Masseur & Fitness Teacher in Oxfordshire

About Stu

Stu’s Background

I’ve been working in the fitness industry since 2012, starting with teaching Zumba and then progressing with other qualifications and fitness programmes. I got into the fitness industry when I started working abroad in the south of France back in 2010.  As well as fitness, I have other hobbies and interests including travelling, performing arts, horse riding and anything social. Way before I attended my first ever Zumba class Life was in a backpack…

In 2009 and 2011 I travelled around the world and visited Australia, New Zealand , Fiji, USA, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Mexico. My time away I did many of the extreme/water sports such as sky dive, bungee jump, scuba diving, white and black water rafting, swimming with Dolphins, abseiling and snorkelling.

From 2010-2014 I worked overseas as an entertainer, performing in shows, teaching aqua fitness around the poolside, fitness on the beach and Zumba in the sunshine. I worked 5 seasons at Yelloh Village Le Camping Club Farret in the south of France. In 2015 I worked 1 season with Thomas Cook in Lanzarote and then 1 winter season to finish off my overseas days in Lapland.

Back to sunny England I studied Performing Arts in Oxford, 1 year of acting and 2 years of dance. I then registered as self employed and began progressing STU Fitness.
